ASAP Solutions

ASAP includes a variety of standard HP and optional partner provided interfaces.  These include:

• Service-level-objective, tokenized-event interface to NonStop Event Management System (EMS).
• Goal and Action Language statements (GOALs) for automated corrective actions.
• ASAP EMS events can be displayed using EMSDIST, ViewPoint, or Web Viewpoint.
• ASAP EMS events can be analyzed using HP's EMS Analyzer product - Ref EMSA TIM manual CD 1.
• Database DDL schema published for all ASAP entities - Ref Appendix B ASAP Server NTL manual.
• CI conversational and scriptable interface - Ref Section 5 ASAP Server NTL manual.
• ASAP Client for in-depth, real-time analysis of ASAP data - Ref ASAP Client NTL manual.
• Provider API allows application domain integration with ASAP - Ref ASAP Extension API NTL manual.
• Consumer API allows ASAP object-state sharing - Ref Appendix A OEM 3.0 NTL manual
• ASAP OpenView Agent allows inclusion of ASAP alerts and data in HP OpenView.
• Alert notifications via Email, wireless Phone, Pager, or web browser.

ASAP includes a variety of additional HP and Partner product interfaces that further extend capabilities of the ASAP infrastructure.  For additional information, see HP ASAP Partner Solutions.

ASAPX API also allows an unlimited number of new entities to be added to the ASAP infrastructure.  As a result, ASAP can perform availability monitoring on virtually any abstract entity.
